About QuickStart
QuickStart began in the fall of 2007, as a result of my own personal experience with my grandson. I discovered a gap in the system that left families waiting a year or more to receive services or help for their child, who was then often diagnosed with autism.
Early intervention has been proven to give the best possible results for children with autism.
QuickStart, in partnership with the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre (OCTC), has helped to establish a new clinic which provides free services for children, prior to a diagnosis.
