Every child deserves the opportunity to be their best...please give generously!

Early intervention is critical for children with autism.

QuickStart, in partnership with the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre, provides free pre-diagnosis services through the Getting Started Services Clinic.

QuickStart is a non-profit organization where one hundred percent of every donation goes to support the clinic.

In the first year of operation the Clinic saw over 150 children and reduced the waiting times for services by one half year!

Currently the Clinic is operating two days a week. One day is for individual sessions and the other day is for group sessions.  We now have four health care professionals on staff: a Speech Language Pathologist, an Infant Development Worker, a Social Worker and an Occupational Therapist. 

This year, 2010, the Clinic is adding a Dietician and a Behavioural Specialist to the team.

This is due to the generous support of businesses and people like you!

Our goal remains to have the clinic operating three days a week with nine health care professionals on staff. The cost to provide this service is $483,000.
